Licensed Professional Counselor
College and early adulthood can feel overwhelming. You might be juggling classes, work, family expectations, and your own hopes for the future, all while trying to figure out who you are. If that feels familiar, you are not alone.
I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio who provides therapy in English and Spanish. I am especially mindful of the experiences many Latino clients carry into therapy while welcoming young adults from all backgrounds. I particularly enjoy supporting college students and early career adults who want space to slow down, feel understood, and make changes that feel doable in their day-to-day lives.
My approach is person-centered, which means I show up with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity. Therapy with me can help you notice the strengths you already have and understand how to use them in meaningful ways. I also integrate practical cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns and build skills that align with your goals. Sessions often include reflection, shared curiosity, and, at times, a few laughs. Together, we sort through what feels challenging and consider what might help you move forward.
In our work, my priority is creating a space where you can be honest and feel understood, without pressure or judgment. I take time to understand what you need and how you make sense of your experiences. We will move at your pace, and I will offer gentle challenges when they can help you see things from a new angle or try something different. We will figure things out together with intention and care.
I value helping clients develop a clearer sense of direction and a more compassionate understanding of themselves. My hope is that the work we do together creates steady, realistic change that supports the kind of life you are trying to build.
